Ngl a lot of these photos are way more dated than I thought they’d be. 2014 was just so hipster lol. It definitely feels noticeably different from today.

These photos have a grainy and muddy quality that is clearly dated in today's standard. The clothes are no longer stylish today as well. The songs listed have more in common with the early 2010s than today. Anyone who says 2014 is the same as today are either old or have disinterest in pop culture.

My guess would have been 2012 for a lot of these. There are a few distinctly 2014 trends though, like the high-low tank tops (it’s white, towards the middle, with Hollister cut-offs). It’s also worth noting that high waisted pants were not mainstream yet, though hipster style itself had otherwise gotten very mainstream.
Lately the distinction between the first and second half of the 2010’s has become increasingly clear to me.

2014 is aging pretty interestingly. But it's so true, everything had hipster influences in some way back then lol
June 2014 was a pretty horrific time for my personal life, so unfortunately this month was mostly about coping with what just happened. August was a lot nicer of a month to me however.

This is making me paranoid that I still dress like it’s 2014, lol. It doesn’t look that dated to me, though I can tell the difference. I’m in the Midwest so I suppose we are a little behind the times.
