Questions that don't seem to have an answer

You know, that's something I've quite often thought about myself. How do we really know that we are not living within the constraints of a simulation? Are coincidences really as they seem or are they pre-planned by an unknown force? The characters in The Sims don't know that they are living in a simulation. Maybe we are all playing simulation games while also living in a simulation.
