The technology and fashion in these photos look outdated for even 2010.

Is the mask from swine flu? I doubt it cause no one was wearing a mask then.

I would say those iPods would’ve been looking not so fresh since the touch versions were taking over. But that’s not to say they weren’t there. And I would say that’s true in spirit for most of the pics.

If I didn't know any better, I probably would have guessed that these photos were taken sometime during the second-half of 2008 or maybe early 2009. They actually look a bit outdated for 2010. I mean, that isn't too say that there wasn't some lingering emo at the time or that people no longer used iPod Classics in 2010, but this isn't what comes to mind when I personally think back to 2010.

The second photo with college kids looks straight outta 2005-06. Emos might still be around in 2010 but they were overshadowed by the Scene subculture. The iPod classic is certainly not a thing to boast about in 2010 since iPod Touches were selling like hot cakes lol. I went to a school full of upper class trendy kids and some of these photos don’t remind me of 2010.

Lower class neighborhoods probably weren’t getting iPod touches as early as those in middle to upper class neighborhoods.

I bought an iPod classic in 2010 because my iPod touch couldn’t handle my big music collection. It doesn’t work anymore.
