I’m expecting to see the pandemic end around mid-late next year, and 2020s culture to be in full swing by at least the end of next year.

Hopefully Trump is no longer president by then.

I’m expecting to see the pandemic end around mid-late next year, and 2020s culture to be in full swing by at least the end of next year. over 50 companies right now are rushing to roll out the Vac it might be here before November, the trials right now are in the final stage of testing before being rolled out. As for 2020 culture its hard to say, one could say this is the 2020 culture and one could say its transitional, usually the first year of the decade is VERY hard to pin point just yet, it is just way 2 early despite a huge culture changing moment like Covid.

A big shift in music will happen. I'm betting on mid 2021.

I think 2021 will be an escapism from hell (at least mid-late 2021). That or it will be an extension of 2020, provided that the vaccine doesn't successfully go through and herd immunity doesn't set in (which is already far-fetched)

Didn't they say a vaccine takes like years to develop? At the same time they can't just keep on closing everything when cases spike up cause that's going to destroy the economy and ruin small businesses.

* Joe Biden will be the president of the United States. * There will be a third-wave of the coronavirus across Europe and Asia. * A vaccine will be made available by March/April next year, but due to the over-demand and the time it would take to produce more vaccines, it will be several years before COVID-19 is truly eradicated from society. * China will continue to provoke the West by making further territorial claims in the South China Sea and initiating military force against India as the border dispute continues. * A "cold war" will start between the United States and China. * Commemorations will be held for the 20th anniversary of the September 11 Attacks, but due to the slow roll-out of the COVID-19 vaccine, social distancing and masks will still be enforced. * Indie-pop will experience a resurgence in the mainstream due to the lockdown releases making it onto the charts.
To be honest, i'm skeptical that a vaccine will be made available by next year. I know the Oxford University's research has been pretty promising, but even in the very slim chance that they do develop a vaccine and it becomes available sometime during the first few months of 2021, its not going to be immediately available to use for every single person around the world. It will take years just to develop enough stock to immunise the millions upon millions of people in the one country, let alone the 7 billion+ people worldwide. I've been of the belief that the media is conditioning the public to believe that a vaccine will become available just so that it maintains some degree of social order. Could you imagine the amount of panic and stress there would be if the public was informed that a vaccine may never be available?

At the same time they can't just keep on closing everything when cases spike up cause that's going to destroy the economy and ruin small businesses. Typically it does, but I believe because this is so closely related to the SARS 1 virus back in 2003 which they already developed a vaccine for, they've been able to fast track it. My predictions for 2021? If Joe Biden wins and we have a peaceful transition of power, I think things will really start to improve. Just having competent leadership and not having a new disaster caused by Trump every single day will make things a lot better. I think lockdown and social distancing though will continue through most of 2021. I think the economy will get much worse. I don't think the U.S. economy bottoms until 2022-23 with unemployment at 25-30%. If Trump wins I think the USA will split. Either way, society is going to experience a "great reset" this decade.
