We all watched that show lol However some stayed with the series longer than others.
when did you stop watching ?
I stopped when this became the theme lol DBZ got my full attention at this time

I stopped watching after Diamond and Pearl. I briefly got back into the series during Kalos but stopped once Sun and moon hit.

I wasn't watching the anime anymore by the time the Gold & Silver games came out, and even then, I barely saw the Orange Islands episodes. I watched the early episodes of Johto Journeys later on Cartoon Network, but it has really only been the games that have stuck with me since the beginning.

I went through a Pokemon phase when I was 10 because my older cousin happened to be into it and I warmed to it over time. It didn't last for long though, I lost interest in Pokemon by about Late 2009.

I fully stopped watching the animé a little after the "Diamond & Pearl" season started as I found it becoming way too repetitive and formulaic by then. I only watched it sporadically before then, especially with the "Battle Frontier" arc being pretty boring aside from the occasional battles.
As for the games, I fully quitted the franchise after "Black & White 2" were released. I did not care for the 3DS or anything Nintendo was doing around that time so my enthusiasm for Pokémon naturally also took a hit.

I stopped traditionally after Diamond & Pearl. It had the best story that after I watched it, it was "Ok, time for me to grow tf up" I couldn't really get into newer seasons, but I did occasionally see newer episodes that had good moments.
I hear the newest season is great because Ash is actually catching fully evolved stronger Pokemon. The games will always be good because you catch literally any Pokemon in them.
