So, I was looking through the charts of the 80s and I found this massive hit in 1981 by the Rolling Stones. Does the song sound more 70s or early 80s? At first, I thought it sounded more like the 70s but I heard other songs such as I Love Rock N Roll, Jessie's Girl and Hit Me With Your Best Shot, they are power pop songs that ruled the early 80s and this one sounds similar so I would put it in the early 80s.

Same. I actually used to think it came out in the 70’s because I mistakenly assumed it was on the Some Girls album. But when you do a comparison, it sounds about exactly of its time.

It sounds of its time, so early 80s.

I dunno guys I’ve heard music made in 1973-1976 that has an identical sound. It sounds right at home with power pop songs like I Love Rock N Roll and Eye Of The Tiger in 1982.
