This poll is not what is the best but rather what is the most exciting year of the 2000s? A year that has you on the EDGE of your seat in a thrill ride...
There are no right or wrong answers

I'd probably say 2008 since that was when America elected the first black president, although I'm probably biased since I didn't even exist when 2000 happened.

I'd probably say 2008 since that was when America elected the first black president, although I'm probably biased since I didn't even exist when 2000 happened. 2008 was a fun year, The Fall was the most exciting and music WAS getting better as the year went on. It was this feeling of unexpectedness but in a good way minus the recession. I can honestly say 2008 is def exciting. As for me... I pick 2002 it was a roller coaster ride... - Hulk Hogan came back to the WWF after being gone forever - The New england Patriots won the Super Bowl ( I could care less but it was a WTF moment) - I lost my virginity - I dated for the first time ever - Got some many cool games at the time, and a XBOX !!! Jet Grind Radio, Final Fantasy X, Max Payne - I remember The Osbornes tv show being fun AF - I had Sex ed class and as u can imagine being in 8th grade it was weird AF lol - I really liked the rise of Michelle Branch, Shakira and Vanessa Carlton - The Rock vs Hulk hogan is prob one of the biggest matches of all time as wells as Rock vs Brock of that year - HBK returned to the WWE as a wrestler, was very surreal - WWf changed to WWE - Seeing Spider-Man 1 in the movie theater was unreal.......................... - Tramp stamps get huge ha - Vice City comes out and it was prob top 3 gaming experiences of all time - Sonic was on a NINTENDO system for the first time ever...........What? My eyes could not believe what they were seeing, Sonic Advance was lit - MTV 2 started showing Uncensored music videos was wild - FOX KIDS ENDED LIKE WTF FOX BOX SUCKED ! - Dragon ball Z was still somewhat decent - Garage Rock taking off was super unexpected The only negatives I can really think of was the over saturation of Eminem that entire year, There are too many WTF moments of 2002 for me not to make it most exciting Special mention goes to 2005 as runners up

2007 for me. Went and saw Linkin Park perform live at the Sydney Entertainment Centre, fell in love for the first time, got my labrador Sally, met my closest friend. It was a good year all-round.

2003. Damn, can't believe no one has yet to mention it. A lot of the voted years are close calls but 2003 really took home.

Most exciting? Probably 2007, considering I was a pretty heavy gamer that year and there was a lot of cool games coming out that year. I was especially hyped about Halo 3. Other games include Pokémon Diamond, Call of Duty 4 (used to be a fan between Call of Duty 2 and Black Ops), Guitar Hero III, first World of Warcraft expansion (Burning Crusade), Bioshock, Mass Effect and so on. My personal life was also pretty good that year.
2004 is also quite an honorable mention as the pop culture was pretty solid that year and was an improvement from the previous years in my personal life.

I am surprised 2004 didn't overtake 2003 as exciting what with Halo 2 and GTA San Andreas coming out 2002, 2004,2005 were all exciting to me

2008 as it was quite an exciting time of change for me personally, since it was when I broadened my interests to pop culture like music and cinema, and not being limited to just kid culture.
