Do you like any Australian shows? Not that I am aware of lol, I think most of the shows I watch are either from America or New Zealand, although I have watched Australian shows in the past.

Fair enough. About a year ago, there was a proposal to change the New Zealand flag. Do you think the current flag should be kept or should the flag be changed?

Also, why do New Zealanders call mobiles "cell phones"? They're known as "mobile phones" in the UK & Australia and New Zealand follows British vocabulary as well, so it doesn't make any sense, lol.

Lol, I'm not sure. I guessed we just decided to call them cellphones, I didn't realise people in Australia didn't call them that. I would say it's Becasue of the cellular network our phones run on probably.

Personally, I think the flag should have been changed. I think NZ shouldve changed their flag to have our own identity. We don't need the Union Jack on our flag, we are not a British colony anymore so what's the point? Many other countries have done this already such as Canada or SA. Looking at the flag doesn't really represent NZ imo. I think the reason the flag didn't end up getting changed was that all 4 options were pretty bad, if the designs were better then I'm pretty sure the result would have been different.

I tend to agree. To be honest, I think one big disadvantage with the current flag is how similar it is to the Australian flag. It can be easy to mistake the two at times and as you mentioned, it doesn't really represent New Zealand too well. I actually didn't mind the look of a couple of the proposed designs, but I can see why many people didn't. The choices were pretty limited.
