How would have 2020 panned out had COVID-19 never existed and there was no global pandemic? Many events and releases have either been postponed or cancelled altogether, so this has ultimately had a flow-on effect on the way in which things have turned out.
Here are a few examples:
* Lady's Gaga new Chromatica album was originally scheduled to be released on the 10th April (rather than the 29th May), so "Rain On Me" would have entered onto the charts and became a hit around mid-April instead of early-June. * Taylor Swift's Folklore wouldn't exist. * Trump would most likely still be winning in the pre-election polls. * The 2020 Tokyo Olympic Games would be being held right now!
What are some other changes you can think of?

It's hard to even think about it.
The events of this year have not only ruined 2020 but we're likely going to be waiting until at least 2025 at least before there is some semblance of normality.
This is like predicting the 1940s if WWII would have never broken out.

This is like predicting the 1940s if WWII would have never broken out. I wouldn't say that they are comparable. Sure, COVID-19 has completely changed life as we know it, but we can still predict how life would have been had circumstances been different due to us still being in the early stages of the pandemic. For instance, Tik Tok most likely never would have been faced with the prospect of being banned, even though the cyber security risks would have still been there. That would be because there wouldn't have been as strong of an anti-Chinese sentiment.

I know for sure the movie industry would actually be making money right now.

The live-action Mulan movie would have come out way back in March rather than being indefinitely post-phoned, and eventually being released to Disney's streaming platform instead.
I just realized that Pixar's Onward is the 7th highest grossing movie of 2020 and despite that it still is technically a box office failure due to revenues being lower than its used budget. Yikes

Like come on, it wouldn't have hurt just to release it in April in the first place 🤷🏽♂️ The coronavirus isn't related to Cyberpunk, like what the actual fuck???

I guess so, but Ive seen a few popular games that were released poorly yet fixed with future updates, Witcher 3 for example, made by the same developers, CD Projekt Red...
