I kind of wish Nintendo released it in 1998 instead of Color. GBA was an amazing system.........best of all......... it was 32-Bit and was about as powerful as a playstation. 3D crazy Taxi !
Tekken 3Spider-man 2 in 3d !32 bit Sonic ! 32 BITS !Street fighter Alpha 3 ps1 port on GBA !

This was my first true handheld console as a child. I did also own a Gameboy color but that was a hand-me down from my cousins since I was just a baby when it was new so I don't truly consider it MY first handheld. GBA holds a special place in my heart and I still have the original one I got as a kid in '03.(Wish I still had the box and never sold all my games though)

GBA holds a special place in my heart and I still have the original one I got as a kid in '03.(Wish I still had the box and never sold all my games though) I got one in December 2001 and it was AMAZING, first game I got was the SNES port of Super Mario Bros 2 Playing Sonic on a NINTENDO system for the first time was UNREAL I would have never thought in the 90s this would happen but it did , honestly Sonic Advance is in the top 10 of all time Sonic games along with Sonic 2 and 3

The most interesting part of the GBA is that so many games on it really feel like basically SNES ones. In fact, many SNES games like Super Mario World, A Link to the Past and Final Fantasy VI were rereleased for the first time on the GBA. Earthbound/Mother 2 (released in 1992) and Mother 3 (released in 2006) might be the best example to illustrate how the two platforms were similar in graphisms and sound
