Can you think of any examples of artists and/or bands you personally enjoy the music of, despite there being a stigma associated with their image/music?
Personally, I actually don't mind Creed. I can understand the reasons people have for being put off by their music and especially the vocals of Scott Stapp, however I do believe Creed have a few legitimately good songs within their discography. "My Own Prison" would have to be one of the best alternative songs of 1997. I love the moodiness and overall darkness of the song. "What If?", "With Arms Wide Open" and "My Sacrifice" are also songs of theirs I particularly enjoy, although I don't consider them to be on par with "My Own Prison" in terms of quality. Still, Creed are far better than many people make them out to be and Mark Tremonti is an underrated guitarist.
There are a few other bands that fall in this category for me too. Limp Bizkit are truly the bottom of the barrel when it comes to nu-metal, but "Break Stuff" and "Rollin'" are pretty fun to listen to if you don't take them too seriously. I actually prefer their cover of "Behind Blue Eyes" over the original by The Who.
My Chemical Romance are also a band who I've really come to like as well. I'm glad that people are starting to see past their emo image and judge their releases based on their own artistic merit. Three Cheers for Sweet Revenge is one of the best rock albums of the naughties, without doubt. I still stand by the idea that "Helena" is one of the greatest rock songs of the past 20-25 years.

Eurobeat singers in general, I guess. But if we're going by bands and artists that people actually know, then it would be a lot of bubblegum pop artists from the Y2K era like Vitamin C, Boyzone, and early Mandy Moore. Anything that hipster snobs consider manufactured garbage, depending on the era, I may actually enjoy quite a bit.

Early Mandy Moore, and Backstreet Boys and *N'Sync. It's 20 years later and I still love 'em.

"Friends Forever" in particular seems to receive a lot of praise. Early Mandy Moore, and Backstreet Boys and *N'Sync. It's 20 years later and I still love 'em. That's very brave of you to admit to loving the Backstreet Boys and N'Sync.

I'm also known to enjoy Dead Kennedys and MDC, so I think I've more than earned my street cred.

She's now the Vice President of Music at Nickelodeon, which should tell you what she's all about in the first place. Regardless, I found her first album to be really energized, fun, and well-produced.

I love Kenny Chesney lol. I listen to a lot of cheesy music in general when working out, including Y2K pop like Backstreet Boys. I like a few 1D songs.
