1960s:
1970s:
1980s:
1990s:
2000s:
2010s:
1960s and 1970s had an old school vibe. The 80s are getting more modern but still old school. The 90s and 00s have more edgier aesthetics. The 2010s is more higher budget and over-the-top.

Yeah, it's kinda funny how similar the '60s and '70s commercials are, and then suddenly the '80s are a world apart. And then things get even more detached as the decades went on. Pretty incredible.

Pretty incredible. 100% agree, I watched the 60s and then the 70s commercials and I was like "pretty much the same" and then I saw the ones from the 80s and they seemed drastically different from the 60s & 70s. The 90s commercials were also drastically different from the 80s commercials too. The 2000s and 2010s commercials were moderately changeful (definitely more than the 60s to 70s atleast).

The slow-paced commercial stylings of the 1960s and 1970s were similar, although the 70s commercials did have more flashy/colorful graphics and text. But, boy, oh, boy, were the 1980s commercials more lively. The camera work and graphics had better quality to them as they probably were on a higher budget. While a majority of the '80s commercials gave off this whole "family values" vibe, the '90s commercials targeted more towards Gen Xers, and of course there were the edgy, "rad", and fast-paced aesthetics and graphics that came along with them. The 2000s commercials were marketed towards coming-of-age millenials, but had more flashy and glitzy graphics. The 2010s commercials were a lot more high-def and sleek with enhanced 3D productions.

Well, the differences between the 60s and the 70s would be a lot more noticeable if you picked from earlier in the 60s:
Though it's interesting to note how worlds apart 1963 and 1967 were.

It’s cool to see how TV commercials has evolved over the years. If I had to make a ranking of my most to least favorite.
1. 1990s: I personally think that the tv commercials was the best in the 90s. Everything about it was very classy. Something that is missing in today’s tv ads. 2. 1980s: I definitely believe the 80s kickoff a new wave of we think of commercials. Prior to the 80s, TV commercials for the most part was informative, and very slow pace. The 80s was now fast pace, wholesome and super entertaining. 3. 2000s: I may be biased because I was a kid during this time, but I love the commercials of that time. Brings back good memories. It was the last decade where the commercials still had that old school vibe to it. 4. 2010s: While I still enjoyed the commercials of the last decade, This was when the commercials has started to lose its vibe. I feel like something is missing with the commercials of the last few years. 5. 1970s: A underrated era for TV Advertising’s. A little too slow pace for my liking but very enjoyable to see. 6. 1950s: While not my favorite of the bunch, but the 1950s definitely blueprinted the way we see commercials. Definitely a unique time. 7. 1960s: IMO this is my least favorite era for commercials. Everything was very slow pace and the transitions feels very off putting.

90s and 2000s had the best commercials I agree. And I don’t care If a certain YouTube commercial uploader says they got ruined in 1997 because of prescription drug ads being allowed. And the E/I rule on Saturday morning blocks. 🙄

How many commercials in the 2010s had that same whistling, clapping, ukulele, toy piano, soundtrack?

I personally think the commercials these days is decent at best, but I feel like something is missing in TV Ads now compared to the 80s, 90s, even the 2000s. The TV commercials during that time period had something special, charismatic feel to them that is almost missing today.
They don't make commercials like this.
