Back to School Week Fall 2002 - A reflection

A spin off on @sharksfan99 thread of the same vibe, this is a feature called back to school week where I chronicle
the energy,sights and sounds going into a new school year. Grab a snack and sit back and relax because it's time for Fall 2002.
Back to school week : August 27th 2002 - September 5th 2002
Grade : 9
Location : Suburban New Jersey
- Newsworthy blips and blurbs -
- I run into my ex first day walking into High School door (the one from early 2002) and gives me a big hug which leaves me confused AF !
- Awful lot of Goths here today.......
- FOX KIDS...........becomes the FOX BOX no NO NOOOOOOOOOOO Michael Scott SCREAM noooooooooooooooon FK Ultimate Muscle
- Seeing people I had not seen since the 90s ( different schools )
- Fruitopia machines are everywhere and becomes popular
- By now Avril Lavigne is now a house hold name, everyone is OBSESSED with her
- I start seeing Surf culture start to take over even more (Blue Crush movie had just come out
- Carson Daly is no longer at MTV TRL anymore and is replaced by Lala, Quddis and Damien Fahey
- Brock Lesnar is the WWE champion and Triple H is awarded the World Heavyweight Championship.....sigh
- Ordinary Day by Vanessa Carlton is played in every CVS you can imagine and they keep playing in homeroom lol
- My Homeroom teacher humped the blackboard to get everyones attention
- MTV 2 is playing the same pop videos over and over......ugh come on
- Cartoon Network is unbearable right now
- Ames closes it's doors and is selling old GameGears for 20 dollars
- Tons of 9/11 never forget flags all over the walls of school
- Sabrina on The WB! starts getting better (started sucking once they left ABC but picked up!!!)
- The WB! removed the Toonami branding and is going back to being Kids WB! again
- Megaman Zero for GBA has a tiny bit of hype for some reason...........
- CRash Bandicoot 4 Wrath of Cortex DEMO drops and is a flop................Those LOAD TIMES WTF
- Super Mario Sunshine is super popular despite Gamecube not being popular lol
- Even more people at school dressing like Eminem
- Game of love played in every store at the mall, Fk it Im posting it
- I drop my ps2 on the floor and it breaks
- girl in my class poops her pants in front of everyone
- smoking popular
- VMAS were a notch below the year before, nothing crazy
- Energy drinks getting more popular
