Back to School Week Fall 2005 - A reflection

A spin off on @sharksfan99 thread of the same vibe, this is a feature called back to school week where I chronicle
the energy,sights and sounds going into a new school year. Grab a snack and sit back and relax because it's time for Fall 2005.
Back to school week : August 25th 2005 - September 1 2005
Grade : 12
Location Suburban New Jersey
- Newsworthy blips and blurbs -
- Hurricane Katrina is all over the news right now, tvs in school are tuned into CNN
- 2005 VMA hype this week, they were pretty good, Kelly Clarkson was singing in the rain
- 2 kids in my class had sex in the hallway and someone video taped it and put it on Google video
- 40 year old Virgin is all anyone is talking about, what a hit movie, I saw it this week
- Massive hype and energy over the upcoming xbox 360
- TMOBILE SIDEKICK THAT DAMN SOUND IS ANNOYING
- PSP is a hot item right now, it as seen as a luxx
- Ipod has now become standard and no one is carrying CD players anymore
- 80s nostalgia is in FULL force right now
- Power Rangers SPD is on Abc Family's Jetix, its ehhh
- Pon De Replay is all over the radio... little did we know........
- Eminem is not as popular heading into this school year
- However 50 is
- This music video is on MTV 200 times a morning
- Everyone has a Myspace account right now, it is life
- I get angry and throw my DELL pc against the wall and it shatters and I buy a new one
- My Super Sweet 16 huge right now
- Laguna Beach still super popular
- Hogan Knows best is on VH1 20 times a day
- Super hot out, prob the most hottest fall ever ?
- BIG waist belts are in like 80s flashdance
- GREEN GREEN GREEN clothing is in
- T shirts with Candy on them are in
- UGG BOOTS ARE IN
- My teacher throws a water bottle against the window and it shatters and then throws his mouse at the tv
- A classmate of mine does molly and jumps out the window but survives with no injuries
- Backstreet Boys are BACKKKKKKKKKKKK song all over the radio
- STOP WITH INVADER ZIM AIM ICONS
- no one using Nintendo DS...yet
- 50% of people are emo in school
- NO Beyblade is lame!
- I get STARZ! for free again !
- I steal bunch DVDs from Blockbuster
- I steal some usb cables from Sam Goody
