he Powerpuff Girls is getting a live-action reboot series on The CW, and to be honest we're amazed it hasn't happened sooner.

According to Deadline, writer Diablo Cody (Juno, Jennifer's Body) is teaming up with Arrowverse boss Greg Berlanti to executive produce the series.

That premise gave me ulcers. Why are people so obsessed in turning every pure children property into ironically "subversive" live-actions?

I guess they really want to pander to the 20-somethings who grew up with the original in this case.
