Thought this would make an interesting thread. I find that there are about an equal amount of songs from 2008 that sound closer to 2006 vs. 2010. 2008 songs that sound closer to 2006: - Take A Bow

I agree with the 2006 part but I think some of the songs in the 2010 section might be a little off.
Circus sounds like a Timbaland song from 2006. Ditto with 4 Minutes.
Sexy Can I has no chance of being a hit in 2010s since R&B was mostly dead.
I Kissed a Girl is in the same lane of So What.
Sensual Seduction was a tribute to the early 80s.

I change my mind on Sexy Can I. I think I overestimated how early 2010's that song is. I think it sounds a lot more 2000's.

Sorry, but I hardly agree with that 2010 section.
"4 Minutes" is like the most 2006 sounding song of the entire post, yet it's in the 2010 section??

I don't think "Let It Rock" sounds closer to either, tbh. It's distinctively Late 2000s.
