Found a nice grey kitty on the Lost Dogs Home website and I've enquired about adopting him. Got an email to say they've received my enquiry and they'll be in contact with me if my application is successful, though I forgot to mention on the enquiry that I don't want a cat with health issues (the website didn't have any medical info about the cat).

Grey kitty now has "adopted" on his profile. I still haven't received any calls or emails, but I'm not sure how long it takes for the shelter to get in contact with people. Mum says if I haven't heard anything by this weekend, I can do the Kitty Match thing (I tell the shelter what kind of kitty I'm looking for and they match me with a cat.)

Since I was unsuccessful in adopting Earl Grey, I've sent in an adoption enquiry for another 1-year-old grey kitty who just popped up on the website today. His name is Moscow. I've told them I'm looking for a kitty who's playful, as friendly as possible, happy to be picked up for cuddles and has no current health issues. Hopefully, I'll hear something back from them this time.

Unfortunately, I wasn't successful in adopting Moscow, but the Lost Dogs Home rang me today and I've got an online kitty match appointment booked in for next week. Not sure if I'll get to see any cats or if I'll just be asked some questions about what type of cat I'm looking for.
