There was something so energetic and fun about 2002. I was 3, while I do have a couple of memories of that year, my memories was still cloudy. It wasn't until 2004 was when my memories became crystal clear.

I remember in summer 2002 my grandma visited my apartment. I also remembered going to Miami in late July
I'm surprised of the amount of digital cameras in the early 2000s. My family took pictures with analog cameras until 2004. When did digital cameras became popular?

Around 2002 Best Buy started promoting the crap out of them they were kind of bulky, they retailed for about 300 to 500 dollars

My family took pictures with analog cameras until 2004. When did digital cameras became popular? Analog I think was king up until 2006-2009. You actually scan film and slides ( or get it scanned or developed) it wasn’t fully digital but the quality and resolution was still better. Even though digital cameras were common by 1999-2001 and increasingly popular since then was more of novelty or used for quick shots more often because of resolution/pixelation and space but the film market was big unlike the late 2000s onwards. I think there were lots of semi analog/digital cameras as well. Commercial film and commerical photography was mostly analog in 2002. Press photos, images in ads and movies were shot on film then digitized. I think digital fully took over by the late 2000s/early 2010s
