July 2002 is in the legendary 2001-2002 school year. July 2002 is 2 months before I started preschool. In July 2002, I am 4 years old and my sister is 1.5 to 2 months old. 2002 is retro and another world, 100% removed from today which is why I can believe 2002 is 19 years old. 2002 has been retro for me since 2018. 2002 screams peak early 2000s! 2000s culture is at their freshest in 2002. If people want to learn about the early 2000s, I would send them to 2002. 2002 is my favorite 2000s year and summer. I love 2002 culture, music, TV, movies, games, fashion. 2002 is a fun, zany, cool-sounding palindrome number and year. Another aspect I love about 2002 is that 2002 is not core 2000s with the 2000s identity developing. you got that right! 2002 in general is my fav year of the 2000s. It is pretty much hater proof. 9/11 had already happened the year prior, and while it was still fresh on the news and in peoples minds we were looking forward. Mind u this was before the Iraq war started in 2003. The air felt lighter as well for some reason LMAO I know it's a reach but things felt lighter. July 2002 ahh such an amazing time. This is when the Avril hype really started building up. Spider-man posters where everywhere btw, having been released in May, soda commercials, Blockbuster commercials, Fast food places LMAO it was crazy.
