What I find weird is what is his motive to do this? Like what is he actually getting out of it? makes you wonder. exactly, isn't it funny how his thing says never duplicated and yet all he does is steal content lmao

I don’t know why this is taking long to resolve. He should just own it, come up with some kind of story or bs and say some kind of apology or more thorough explanation even if it’s not direct and let us all all move the f on. I don’t know why everyone is being held back by this ridiculousness. And why the other site is straight up denying what someone is doing out of fear or not being in the group and going along with it, it’s speaks volumes about certain peoples mental health and type. A nostalgia forum shouldn’t be a high school popularity club where bad behavior passes just because. I don’t understand why there is condescending tone surrounding this anyways, people shouldn’t sign up to randomly crapped on and then cornered and gaslighted or belittled non stop. Thats understandable on a football forum. The strangest part is this person is likely 3 times our age, whatever our age is, even if I’m a bit older. TBH I’ve never seen such weird behavior even with trolls on Reddit. Hope it gets resolved sooner.

All LyricBoy had to do is this "guys I am sorry I shouldn't have stolen all threads I am very sorry for causing pain to the other forum, I will be considerate next time I think about posting a thread" but he won't.... all he had to do is say that and we can all move on, watch when the forum gets unlocked he starts stealing threads again. it is lyric boy himself which is dragging this out as long as it is. If he didn't want this to be such a big story on the forum he should have never stolen the posts.

He attempted to register another account here earlier today, which means that he's now attempted to do so three times!
I'll be honest, I don't think we should continue to make the forum completely non-viewable for guests indefinitely (new account registrations will most likely continue to be approved/rejected going forward though), but at least this method has been effective in putting a stop to LyricBoy's actions.

Guests and visitors can now access the forum, however, the topics themselves no longer appear on the homepage and there is no way of accessing them if you do not have an account on the forum. This is the best outcome for Popedia as it ensures that search engines (e.g Google Bing) can start to index the forum onto their sites again and potential members can see what they are signing up to before deciding to create an account (the majority of people don't sign up to something they don't have access to or know anything about), but there is no possible risk of the topics being stolen and copied word-for-word on other sites. New account registrations on the forum will continue to be approved or rejected. The video below demonstrates what changes have been made (I realise the video is kind of cheap, but it will do  ):
