Sleek and modern. I find it hard to stomach everyday damn how far we're pushed from then. This was my teen era. I'm not even in my 20s anymore, shit. Bday is in less than 4 days.

Happy early birthday, 2007 def had that future sleek element what with ps3 and wii on the market and the white apple aesthetic that every electronics company was rehashing.

they were getting major buzz around this time with commercials on tv Oh yeah. We were all about Netflix dvd in mailers back then! I didn’t have cable in 2007 (I did have an HDTV by this point but there wasn’t many sub channels other than America One, a 24/7 local weather channel, and a Spanish language channel, no METV, COZI TV or any channels that played old sitcoms and movies yet) so it was ALL about YouTube and Netflix for me! some of you may remember the time Blockbuster tried to compete...

Speaking of Cable I have to speak on how much of downturn Tv took in early 2007 lol TV turned into trash super fast, Cartoon network was slacking and TRL was becoming pre taped every other day...but yeah I am glad you linked that commercial because I do remember seeing it be advertised on Cartoon Network.

I remember the entire month like it was yesterday. I just turn 8 that year. It was also the first time I (along with my family) traveled outside of my home state. Me and my family went to Seattle Washington for the wedding. I absolutely fell in love with the city scenery along with the atmosphere. This was also the month that I discovered Youtube. My childhood peak during this time. The music was different from a few years prior. The culture felt different by that point.

A few disrtrupters about Spring 2007 that you "may" have felt - Facebook was getting really really popular ( altho unless you were in High school may have not felt it) - Netflix buzzing, as you could see commercials were on 24/7 - Music was a little more electronic and upbeat due to Timbaland's productions - TRL becoming pre taped, a staple 2000s show was in talks of being canceled as early as Jan 2007 due to Youtube - Impending Iphone launch looming - Scene fashion really takes off - by now BlackBerry started getting SUPER popular with the introduction of Blackberry pearl in late 2006 - Talk of King of Queens and Soprano's last season wrapping up - the introduction of Tom Tank Engine on Cartoon Network's Toonami - Disney Channel had already rebooted itself and was very different due to High school musical and Hannah Montana the year prior
