And I didn’t get cable back until January 2008. And I remember feeling rather unimpressed with their offerings other than Adult Swim. Maybe I was getting older, who knows?

Cartoon Network fell off so hard during this time LMAO at NEW TOM on Toonami Glad to know I wasn’t missing anything I didn’t have cable at all in 2007. And I didn’t get cable back until January 2008. And I remember feeling rather unimpressed with their offerings other than Adult Swim. Maybe I was getting older, who knows? TV in general was getting a tiny bit lackluster, Sopranos was gone from HBO, King of Queens was done, toonami was a shell of itself with NEW tom, Nick was unwatchable and MTV's TRL was pretaped every day (they were going to cancel it Spring 2007 but decided to keep it going until November 2008) TV in general was getting kind of shitty lol oh and WWE had the whole Chris Beniot killing himself crap which made wrestling unwatchable, by the time u got your cable back in 2008 they changed the titantron stage to the HD one that was TERRIBLE, 2007 and 2008 were more about tech advancements, like the Iphone, Facebook popping off and music rather then what was on tv, the only thing you really missed was Britney going crazy all over E! and Paris Hilton arrest stories. there is a reason why I avoid 2007 when doing these atmosphere threads lmao it was not as strong as other years such as 2008, tv slowly improved a tiny bit in 2008 so you got tv at the right time.

CRT computer monitor in 2007? I had been using an LCD monitor for like 4/5 years by then.
Fantastic time to be a video gamer. There was a lot of hype with the upcoming Halo. World of Warcraft and Guitar Hero were absolutely unavoidable too.
TV had taken quite a step down compared to the years prior (still good overall) and the mainstream music really sucked for the most part. It was a pretty good year for movies though.
2007 might be when the earliest signs of 2010s culture came around but, mainly for late 2007, May 2007 was 100% 00s still.
