Almost every other song from 2000-2001 and 2005-2006 were obnoxiously overplayed for years on end.
A lot of songs from 1997-1999 and the last decade or so not as much as the above and not in such an obnoxious way.
I don’t recall music being played to death in the same way in the early to mid 90s although a lot of eurodance and pop/rock was overplayed at times.
1997-1998: Chumbawaba, Aqua, Natalie imbruglia, Aerosmith, Jaramirquoi
1998-2000: Britney Spears,Eiffel 65 Boyzone, Craig David, French House: Stardust, Cassius 🤮
2000-2001: U2, Limp bizkit, Eminem, Elevator Techno : Modjo, Linkin Park
2005-2006: Stuff like akon, usher, maroon 5, 50 cent, Gwen stafani etc

Shape Of You by Ed Sheeran. Its my least favorite by him. Castle On the Hill is a better song overall.
Circles by Post Malone. Good song but very overplayed
