If the word "generic" was made into an EDM song, "The Middle", imo, would be the closest to it yet.

"Girls Like You" by Maroon 5. Seriously, fuck that song. "Girls Like You" is so annoying and it's not even good. Another example of one that I still keep hearing at work is the most overrated song in this era:

If the word "generic" was made into an EDM song, "The Middle", imo, would be the closest to it yet. That song is another one. So annoying and generic. I always thought it was Alessia Cara singing this song since it sounds a lot like her but I was wrong.
