Have you ever met someone who is famous or "well-known"? I've met the Brisbane Broncos NRL player, Jack Bird. Him and his family live next door to my Grandparents and my older cousin & I would play footy with him and his brother on my Grandparent's front yard when we were kids.

A few former footballer types when they were in my town.
Went to school with 2 people who went on to become somewhat famous.

I’ve met a few former AFL players like Collingwood captain Nathan Buckley about 8 years ago for a book signing. I’ve also met former Richmond forward Matthew Richardson and Brisbane Lions forward Alastair Lynch a couple of years ago. There has been some others over the years. Actually, when I was in primary school I got to meet some local radio personalities that were doing a school talk segment for their breakfast show. They just asked us questions of current topics of the day and you got to answer them how you liked (seriously or funny), and then they’d picked the best responses to air on their show weeks later.

I got to meet the two hosts of the breakfast program and I was even briefly interviewed live on-air by the hosts! My friend and I also got to help them pack away their equipment.

Not met them no but when I was youger and we used to go stay with the sperm donor *he lived in Newcastle* I met Ants mum but this was way back in Byker Grove days. Many many moons ago.

Yes i have met a few TV Personalities. Sandra Sully, Hugh Riminton, Karl Stefanovic, Sylvia Jeffreys, Amelia Adams, Julie Snook, Kelly Fedor, Danielle Post, Peter Overton.

I don't think I've really met that many famous people over the years. I do recall meeting Moria McLean (the TV presenter who presented advertorials on Bert Newton's GMA back in the day, I think she is/was on TVSN at last report), Sophie Delezio & her mum and perhaps some other people with a minor profile you'd probably have to Google to know who they are. But that was many years ago and not really people who are that famous. If you can count Twitter interactions as getting to meet people in this social media age, I'd probably be able to say I've met many famous people!
