December 8 will be forty years to the day since John Lennon was fatally shot and murdered by Mark David Chapman. The 40th anniversary of his untimely passing means that in two months time, he will have unfortunately been dead for as long as he had been alive for. He was only 40 years old when he had his life cut so short.
Since the anniversary is so close and he has left such a rich legacy that deserves to be kept alive, I thought it would worthwhile to create a general discussion thread about him as an artist/person. I know we've got a few Beatles fans on here.
We could talk about anything relating to his solo career, what our favourite songs of his are, what he would have been like had he lived on etc. Basically, just anything to do with him!
