Forums generally aren't as massive as they were say a decade or so ago. 5 or 6 or even 8 nowadays is quite 'busy' a decade ago that would have been somewhat quiet.

From what I understand, social media has essentially made forums somewhat obsolete. It's just as easy to create a group page on Facebook and invite people to take part in it. I think forums still serve a purpose, but it's definitely harder to entice people to join and participate on the boards.

I remember a Saturday morning in 2005, I came online about 9.30 and Funjoint had 35 people online and there had been more 1000 posts overnight in the 10 or so hours I had been offline. It was late Friday night in the UK, would love them days back.
Facebook groups are crap, posts get lost, individual boards and categories like these make it so much easier. But yeah sadly harder to get members these days.

Facebook had only just launched a year earlier, but it had yet to become popular among the public. It's a shame that those days have since passed. Yeah, i'm not a fan of Facebook groups either. I think forums are much more "community-based" and appealing.

I prefer forums too, if they keep up with design standards. inthe00s hasn't for example. This has perfect design. Glad to hear that you like it. Although, the design interface may be updated sometime in the coming months. Proboards (the host provider of Popedia) are developing a new design interface, which looks much more modern and has additional features. I'll keep everyone updated on any news regarding it.

I think the nu-minimalist theme is the best in the world. Keep it forever! I know that. You or any administrators should remove the social media buttons. I can remove the social media buttons off the "Nu-Minimalist" theme now, if you'd like.

It must be a bit annoying for you that it happens so late at night.

It must be a bit annoying for you that it happens so late at night. Why would it be? Because it happens at 1am in the morning.

The 2;30 pm spike is beginning Haha, it seems to have started a bit earlier tonight. It normally happens just after midnight, Australian Eastern time.

I don't know if you're already doing this, but you can probably figure this out by posting who's online on the "Who's online" thread. You might see a pattern of the most active and inactive times.

You can see a bit of a pattern. However, most of the posts are made during times when the forum is very active, so they don't really account for the other times of the day. It's not a concern at all. I am just interested in noting when the forum is (and isn't) active and hearing other people's opinions on it.

I think it'd be cool to see the pattern
