Also, I wouldn't call God's Plan or Rockstar mumble rap songs. You can clearly hear what the respective rappers are saying in those songs, they are just rap songs.

For what it's worth I have no clue how "Black Beatles" is mumble rap, either, for the same reasons. The real mumble rap hits from 2016 would be stuff like "Panda" by Desiigner or "Jumpman" by Future and Drake. Also, whoever said the mumble rap era is ending? Seems like it's nowhere near gone, considering Lil Baby is still one of the most successful rappers around and many TikTok rappers follow his example.

dudewitdausername #Infinity The "mumble-rap" term is quite often used interchangeably with the word "trap" to describe the style of rap music that has been popular on the charts since about late 2016. That was what I had in mind when I created this topic (i.e "mumble rap era"). I wasn't strictly talking about the mumble-rap style songs that were released; I was referring to the late 2010s "Trap"-genre as a whole. If I had only meant mumble-rap songs specifically, I would have titled the topic as "what is the most quintessential mumble-rap song?" (note the absence of the word "era"). I'll admit, i'm not the most knowledgeable person when it comes to rap, but the title and purpose of this topic wasn't that confusing. Most people outside of online communities refer to the late 2010s style of rap as "mumble-rap", whether they are actually mumble-rap songs or not. I definitely wasn't expecting to receive this sort of reaction by creating this topic. I've deleted my post though because obviously this topic was going nowhere and I committed 'murder' by simply using the term "mumble-rap". I'm done with creating new topics. I never said you "commited murder" tho? I simply just made it clear that Imo those aren't mumble rap songs? I didn't mean any harm.
