What are some songs you like from genres you wouldn't typically enjoy or choose to listen to?

Admittedly, I have never been much of a fan of hip-hop, but I actually enjoy a few rap songs from the late '90s. This would probably have to be my favourite out of the ones I like. I particularly like the wedding sample during the verses, and the message behind the song is pretty inspiring as well. When I first heard it on the radio as I was driving home from work about a month ago, it made such an impression on me that I wanted to actually look it up when I got home. It isn't about money, it isn't about treating women as objects, it isn't about getting high. I honestly wish rap music in general was more like this.
Here's another rap song from the late '90s which I don't mind. I wouldn't consider it as being one of my favourite songs from 1998, but I wouldn't change the station if it were to come on the radio.
When I first heard this song back in 2017, I honestly thought of it as being one of the worst songs to have ever made it onto the Top-40 charts during my lifetime. I couldn't stand it. However, now that a number of years have passed since this was released and far worse Trap songs (e.g "Gucci Gang") have become popular in the meantime, my opinion of "Xo Tour Llif3" has began to change over the past month or two. I actually think this is tolerable for a mainstream mumble-rap/Trap song. The beat is memorable and compliments the structure of the song, while the visual imagery in the music video is quite well done too. It's still not what I would consider to be a 'good' song as such, but for what it is, it is okay.
