Pretty sure Taylor Swift is gonna stick around as a multi-decade legacy artist. She’s only in her early 30s and is already extremely accomplished. Her fan base and relevancy in her space in pop will keep her afloat like Nicki Minaj. I think basically all of the soundcloud rappers from the 2015-2018 era are irrelevant now, but they’ll be completely forgotten by the mid 20s. Lil Pump hasn’t been on anyone’s radar since the previous decade. Lil Mosey and 6ix9ine are completely disliked now. Some of them are even leaning into the hyperpop sound just to get any relevancy. It’s funny how people have been saying that SoundCloud rap of the late 2010s is similar to hairmetal era.. And now with their irrelevancy it’s completely true. You are right. In many ways early 2020s music is equivalent to the early 1990s music scene with how stale and directionless certain genres have become. We can only hope some new artist will come with a new sound and change pop/hip-hop

Future is already not as relevant as he was from 2012-2017, so I'd say he's a contender.
Drake on the other hand has been super popular for so long that he's just a super-celeb that defies time/decades. He might not release music up until 2025 but there'll probably be something else he does.

I'm pretty sure you heard of One Dance, In My Feelings, and God's Plan right? Those were incredibly massive in Europe

In my country people only know drake as the hotline bling guy and that guy from that one Rihanna song, we know he is big but we don't really care about him that much. I was surprised to know that "one dance" was a big hit in the US, i never heard that song in my life and you never see people talking about it in my country

If the D’amelio sisters aren’t irrelevant by 2023 I’m gonna lose it lmao I second that, and the Paul Brothers from YouTube should be irrelevant by then too.

Remember how big people like Fred (he went to icarly) and ray william Johson were in 2011? I can only hope these tik tok kids go away by 2025. I mean, what does chalie damelio and her sister, whatever she is called, have to offer? Didn't they get famous because of silly dances?

And also being attractive (to young guys, hopefully)[/b].
