In Easter 2007, my dad woke me up in the middle of the night to tell me there was a visitor in our house. We walked into my kitchen and I saw a big Easter bunny carrying a basket full of goodies and candies for my brother and I. My 5 year old self was shook. I hugged the Easter bunny tightly and I asked him questions such as “Where do you come from?” “What’s your name?” My brother, who was two years old at the time, was really terrified. He was crying, hiding behind my mother and literally shaking. I tried convincing him the easter bunny was a friendly and innocent guy. Years later I figured out it was my grandfather, who passed away several months ago, imitating the Easter bunny. My brother doesn’t remember that moment at all.

When I was 7/8 I remember finding fetishy videos involving things like vore on YouTube and thinking they were the funniest thing ever. I had no idea why they existed. Looking back at them now though... they're pretty creepy, but still hilarious. Just for a different reason.

Thinking that the Tooth Wizard was real. I honestly can't think of anything else at the moment! Believing Santa Claus was mine. I was always really excited about waking up really early on Christmas mornings to find all sorts of such goodies waiting down stairs in the rumpus room. Somehow he knew exactly what I was wanting that year and he even got the exact sizes on my clothes right. Unfortunately, when I was like 9 years old I found out it was all made-up. I was so devastated when I was told the bad news.

I'm sorry to hear about your Grandfather passing away. When I was 7/8 I remember finding fetishy videos involving things like vore on YouTube and thinking they were the funniest thing ever. Were your parents aware that you were watching those type of videos? If my parents had ever caught me watching those type of videos when I was 7/8, I would have gotten into a lot of trouble! My parents never actually told me that Santa Claus wasn't real. I guess they just assumed that I would figure it out for myself.

While on the computer I would also keep the tv on and watch shows on adult swim I wasn't usually aloud to watch.

This literally sounds exactly like me except I was 8 when I found out that santa wasn’t real. 😂 Haha, that’s sad. You received the bad news earlier than what I originally did. Oh well, it was fun while it lasted. When I was 7/8 I remember finding fetishy videos involving things like vore on YouTube and thinking they were the funniest thing ever. I had no idea why they existed. Looking back at them now though... they're pretty creepy, but still hilarious. Just for a different reason. Wow, if my parents ever knew I did such thing like that at that age they’d let me know of their disapproval.

You don’t have many responsibilities for starters. Really? They never told you? That’s a little harsh to have to figure it out for yourself at whatever age you realised. At least me and my brothers were told I guess.

Honestly it’s probably more harsh to lie about a santa anyway. My parents didn't tell me about him and I got into him myself and they pretty much went along with it. I found out myself after I just questioned the reality of it.

If my parents had told me that Santa wasn't real, I would have been pretty disappointed. I know it seems kind of silly to think about now, but believing in Santa was what made Christmas so special. When I found out that he wasn't real, it felt like my childhood was torn to pieces.
