Which era perfectly embodies “not old but not modern either”

Not true lol. Tablets got mainstream in 2011, a bit before smartphones around the same year, infact until a bit took until later to completely kill off non smartphones. We were in our 20s back then, we had greater exposure in terms of viewing people with these objects in different settings. I recall seeing them virtually everywhere.
