Over the past few days, I have noticed that general activity on Popedia has decreased, even though many people are still logging on daily. It has got me wondering, is everything ok? Are the topics not appealing enough? Is there something that I could be doing differently? It has just got me a little bit concerned, even though it's probably not a major issue.

Forums tend to go like that sometimes. In the first 3 days of this week Funjoint had around 1200 posts in 3 days, only about 550 in the last 3 days. Start of the week 49 people logged in for a couple of days, last couple of days down to about 41 and a couple of those were ones who hadn't been on earlier in the week. Nothing to worry about, just a quiet couple of days mate, it'll pick up again

It's good to hear that it's an occurrence that happens on a lot of forums and it's not just a specific case. Thanks for the reassurance.

I've noticed that the total members seem to be stuck at 40. More people started joining Popedia quickly until we hit 40 members and since then hardly anyone is joining.

Yeah, i'm not too sure why that is. Maybe Popedia was simply experiencing a period of growth during that time. I think now that the forum is 6 months old and has become well established, it may not grow as quickly as it did. Who knows, it could just be because we are so close to Christmas and more people are spending time with their family. It's hard to say really.

It does take some time to gain some members though. My prediction is that we'll probably have around 100 members by the end of 2018 or in early 2019 if this site keeps running

I honestly wasn't expecting Popedia to even get to 25 members by the end of this year, so fingers crossed.
