Seeing from all the posts I'm glad this kid is gone. Haha. Well, we don't even know if he was genuinely a 9 year old from Romania. It's possible that he could even be an adult!

I KNEW IT WAS HIM!!! They both had the same speaking style and I was a bit suspicious, but I also didn't want to be that person who just assumes that every 13-year-old or something was the same person as SkittlesCat. His posting style was a dead giveaway. Also, when he first registered with the "SkittlesCat" account a few months ago, he mentioned that he was born in May 2004, which was the exact same month/year he mentioned with the "Stefan" account. I was born in May 2004 you think he copied off of my birthday or something like that?

His posting style was a dead giveaway. Also, when he first registered with the "SkittlesCat" account a few months ago, he mentioned that he was born in May 2004, which was the exact same month/year he mentioned with the "Stefan" account. It is with much happiness to announce this, but due to COPPA's minimum age restrictions, SkittlesCat will no longer be able to register for an account on Popedia, until he is closer in age to the minimum age requirement (which is age 13). As you may know, Proboards (the host provider of this forum) detected his account a few hours ago and deleted it. While this isn't an easy decision to make, I have decided that it is ultimately the best decision for the forum. Proboards has a policy that if forums are caught violating the COPPA rules multiple times, they may be permanently deleted. Considering that Proboards is now aware that SkittlesCat is a pedo, I believe it would be the wrong thing to allow SkittlesCat to register for an account again. Even if SkittlesCat used a different username and profile picture, they would still be aware of his IP address, since they banned his original account. This is the last time we will hear from SkittlesCat. He ain't allowed to post here anymore. I have turned off guest posting on all boards. COPPA law does not apply to guest posting, as "guests" are not registered members of the forum. SkittlesCat, if you are reading this, I wanted to say please stay off my forum. I couldn't find your Twitter account (maybe it has been deleted? thinking1 ) and your account on Funjoint has been deleted as well. Sorry to announce it like this and I hope you stay off this website Fixed it for you.

I don't think I ever had any real interactions with this now former user (maybe I replied to posts of his a couple of times, but certainly didn't get Personal Messages or anything like that) but reading this thread...geez, I don't know what to say.
It's probably for the best that SkittlesCat, Skittles, Skitty, Skitt...or whatever his name actually is doesn't return to the forums ever again.

Thankfully, he hasn't visited Popedia in over three months. I actually contacted Proboards (the host provider of the forum) about the situation and they informed me of a way to ban all Romanian IP addresses. Prior to that, SkittlesCat kept on using different Romanian IP addresses to access the forum (whether or not he actually is Romanian is unknown), so it made it really hard to permanently ban him from the forum. Since I banned all Romanian IP addresses, he hasn't visited the site since. Personally, i'm really glad that he is off the site for good. The fact that he somehow guessed my first-name correctly is pretty disturbing.

Since banning the said member from Popedia back in early January, I have been occasionally checking the Proboards support boards and his own Twitter profile, in case there was a risk of him possibly trying to access the site again. It has been months since he has tried to create his own forum via Proboards and he hasn't posted on Twitter in almost two months, which is interesting. Maybe he has finally given up on using the "SkittlesCat" identity?

Maybe he’s just too “busy” with school? Of course depending if he’s the age he claimed.  Also, it’s no wonder he never bothered creating another forum. It failed talking to himself and was eventually shutdown.  Edit: Btw, he has a single “follower” on Twitter!

From what I can tell, "Skitt" as he's known as there also has a Media Spy account (last read - at least logged in - about a week or so after making an account for the forums) but thankfully never once posted there or anything. I'll never forget the post he made just before he was banned. He said that he was in "jail at the moment", but then he quickly deleted the post. Geez. As much as it's possible that he was joking, I do wonder what the user is supposedly in jail for? Actually, I'd probably prefer not to know. Who knows how old this user actually is (I think on Twitter he said he was 13, while saying he was 9 here and elsewhere) and whether he actually lives in Romania, but I really hope we won't hear from him ever again. From memory I replied to maybe a couple of his posts but certainly didn't get DMs or anything from him. Perhaps I was one of the lucky ones.
