Wait, I think you're right. He probably had an inthe00s account former to the SkittlesCat persona. CatwomanofV (moderator at inthe00s for those who don't know) made is clear there isn't an age limit on inthe00s when another user said "Wobo should came back when he's 18". Someone asked "but didn't a 9 year old get banned for being too young". She in response said "He was banned for pretending to be a 9 year old." CatwomanofV probably knows something we don't, she probably knows that SkittlesCat and another user are on the same IP address, being the same person. It's hard to say. I mean, it's possible that he could have been an ex-inthe00s member, but would someone from Romania have joined inthe00s in the past? Most likely not. The IP addresses he used to access Popedia were from Romania, so I guess it puts that into question. Either way, I definitely thinks there's something else about him that we are unaware of.

What gets me is what would a grown man get out of pretending to be a nine year old online for almost a whole year now? It would be funny to do it for a little bit as short joke, but now it's like posing as a nine year old is his full time job now. I want to think this is a teenage kid pretending to be SkittlesCat.

Who knows really. We don't know who's behind that computer screen and what their motives are. Like God Less America mentioned, there are a lot of adults on the internet who like to pose as kids and live under a false identity. "SkittlesCat" could very well be a middle-aged criminal.

I'm not sure there's much to point towards him being a criminal offline but I have to say that posing as a child and trying to groom adults on internet forums would be a new one for the authorities!

I mean there are multiple instances of adults posing as minors on the internet (especially social media) in order to attract and denounce suspected pedophiles.

You may or may not remember, but there was this one user on Personality Cafe, "SuperMarioPlushBoner" or "SuperMarioPlushBoner2009", one of those usernames, who stated he was born in 2009 (though he had "Baby Boomer" as his generation tag, probably because PerC has a 13+ rule I believe), and had a Roblox profile pic.
