Weird to think this is her second 20s decade she lived through. I don't think she's gonna make much past 100 (or even reach it to begin with) but who knows at this point.

Born in 1926 is not really the oldest in this day and age. The oldest person currently was born in 1903. Basically older than the Titanic and WW1. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kane_TanakaIts very fascinating that how this decade got more 1900s borns than people born in the 1890s at the beginning of the 2010s so far.

The last 19th century born person (born November 1899, mind you) died in 2017. As long as you have good genes and a healthy life style there's a good chance you'll get to see the 22nd century (bonus points if you're female)

She's older than the first plane flight surviving through the smartphone era.

The last 19th century born person (born November 1899, mind you) died in 2017. Since the 19th century includes the year 1900, that would be a Japanese person called Nabi Tajima who died in 2018. But it's pretty cool regardless how many people from the 19th century reached the 21st one. This would have been unthinkable 100 years ago.

Betty White is a famous celebrity who was born in January 1922. And she's still alive and well. So Queen Elizabeth may die in this decade, but I actually believe it'll be in the second half rather than first half. As for when, that's not exactly something I wish to think about.
