It's definitely like a continuation of 2018-era trap but it sounds different, more fun and less emo. A bit like it's slightly influenced by Electropop synths and patterns. Here's some examples:

All of these songs could come out in 2018 and still sound perfectly in place. If anything, I think pop music is changing at a quicker pace than hip-hop at the moment. Doja Cat’s songs and Olivia Rodrigo’s “good 4 u” would sound a bit out of place in 2018.

Hopefully it dies already. Future bass screams late 2010s YouTube tutorial music to me

Trap has been using this type of synth sound pretty much since before it even dominated the charts. Nothing really unique sounding here.

I liked this style in 2018 but am kind of over it today. It's definitely not a new trend. If anything, it should be on it's way out by now or will be very soon.

I personally call it minimalist and/or bouncy trap since that's how trap nowadays sounds like to me.
But to echo bchris02, this style of trap has been mainstream for a few years and it's already a variation to a popular music subgenre that's been dominant for 5 years or so (at least when Fetty Wap became huge in late '14/early '15).

I agree with others here that say a lot of these songs sound right at home in the late 2010s or at least some sound like a more “evolved” version of the late 2010s trap sound. I don’t think trap is technically going to die late this year or even next year because it has evolved as a genre and there are newer styles of trap taking over now (NY Drill and melodic and bouncy trap songs), so trap as a genre really won’t be dead soon.
But the typical late 2010s trap sound that most are referring to is starting to finally fizzle out this year I think. There are less trap songs on the charts now than before and traps influence on other genres doesn’t seem too strong anymore like it was in the mid-late 2010s when a lot of pop songs incorporated trap elements and sounds. Ive also noticed a lot of commercials or ads not really using much trap music anymore and are instead incorporating more (pop)rock and r&b. But at the same time a lot trap from the late 2010s can still fit/blend in with the newer trap songs of today to your average listener.
Like Potato Luvah mentioned, the general status quo for trap music has been the same since about 2016 or so. Songs from that year like Panda by Desiigner, Goosebumps by Travis Scott, or Black Beatles by Rae Sremmurd do sound a little dated in 2021, but still very much sound connected to today’s hip hop. Although there are newer, fresher sounding trap songs, they haven’t really become the majority yet and the state of hip hop does seem to be changing a little slower than other genres

I don't know if people noticed but Kanye's latest album Donda is very devoid of trap, save a few moments (Drill/cloudrap). I don't think this is any indication of trap dying as Kanye isn't the trendsetter he once was, but it's telling that one of Hip Hop's biggest icons of the 21st century just ditched the genre for his biggest release since 2016. While very unlikely, if Drake's next release is anti-trap Hip Hop/Pop, 2021 will be the last year for trap as a mainstream genre.

While very unlikely, if Drake's next release is anti-trap Hip Hop/Pop. Yeah I dunno about that. He's incredibly creatively bankrupt ever since the Scorpion era and basically keeps releasing the same song over and over. Won't be surprised that the public gets bored of him before he attempts any stylistic switch up.

Drake cracked the code somehow, he releases the same boring album from time to time but people won't get tired of him

Juice Wrld started the melodic trap trend which feels similar to bubblegum trap (Lil Yachty's genre that started in 2017).
