Windows 8 (2009) felt like a downgrade from Windows 7 (2009). I also have read on here that Windows Vista (2006) was a downgrade from Windows XP (2001).
I heard the iPhone 10 from the second half of 2017 was a failure after being overhyped. I think it got discontinued barely a year later like sometime in the early half of 2018 due to some problems.
I've read mixed opinions about the Nintendo Switch Oled version that came out in 2021 compared to the original 2017 Nintendo Switch.
Some complained that the PS2 slim console sucked compared to the original PS2.
Exploding smartphones and hoverboards in 2014 and 2015 respectively.

Cheao earbuds stink anyways, they break easily

Nintendo went from one of their most sold consoles of all time (the Wii) to one of their least sold consoles (the Wii U). I mean that console didn't really feel like a whole generation apart the Wii, more so like a new edition. I guess with the Switch they learned that the public doesn't seem to like something that doesn't feel completely brandnew.
In fact Nintendo was so ashamed of the Wii U that they stopped production on it a few months before the Switch even launched.

Windows Vista
lol, this thing was being put on systems that only supported XP, meaning tons of new computers had a OS that made the whole computer run slow despite smooth aesthetics. If you wanted Vista to run well you had invest in an expensive set up.
Windows ME
Do I really need to explain why this was craptastic when it launched lol, buggy software, slow response time.
Myspace 2010 re-design
literally everyone that was left on myspace post 2009 left after this re-design

Windows 8. The metro UI was difficult to use, applications launched in full-screen, very limited functionality for applications, much simpler aesthetic vs Windows 7, games aren't bundled with it, etc. Also yeah, Windows ME. Not just because it's a buggy POS operating system, it actually removed the ability to boot into MS-DOS mode, which kinda ruins the one advantage it being a DOS-based system would have. The iPhone 7 with the headphone jack removal was definitely a major downgrade, and every phone company since thought it was a good idea to follow suit. Another reason to hate the late 2010s.

Cheap earbuds stink anyways, they break easily Not to mention poor sound quality. I myself am against the headphone jack removal, and I mostly say that because wireless headphones have several disadvantages to wired ones. I mean, what if you have a pair of really good headphones that you want to plug into your iPhone, but you can't, because there's no headphone jack.

Wireless headphones aren't the best, but you get used to eventually. The big advantage is that they don't turn into Tangela the Pokémon when you put them in your pocket.

That's true, tangled cords suck ass, but it also depends on the headphone cable. In general, thinner ones tangle up much easier than thicker ones.
