Back in late 2018 at my community college, I held a door for a female student. She said that I don’t have to do that since it’s no longer a part of the current generation. Is that true or bullshit?
I responded to her that my mom taught me to do so and I’ll continue to do it.
My mom has also taught me to respect females and offer a female my seat if she’s standing with no place to sit, which I also do and will continue to do.
Edit: I hold the door for any gender too lol.

Lmfao, I'll only offer my seat to a woman if she is pregnant, disabled or old

I just hold the door open for anyone who’s walking right behind me, regardless of what gender they are.
I’m actually quite glad chivalry is dead, to be honest. I’d feel quite uncomfortable being given special treatment just cause I’m a woman. It just feels benevolently sexist.

Chivalry has been dead since the 70s honestly. Only old people were into it, and still are. But young people from the 70s onwards never held doors for women or anything like that. It just wasn’t cool.

Please do not post in my threads or my closer friends' threads and comments too. If you do not respect this request, then I will take action. A lot of major drama has occurred lately here. We are all tired and people have been using or revealing different usernames recently. Please respect it. Thank you.

He was only expressing his opinion on something and not trying to instigate drama. I don’t think that user has been involved in any drama.

He did and I’m not wasting time responding and revisiting anything related with this topic or someone downplaying what I brought up. I made my point clear and stand by it. Do not respond to my thread.
