She sounds younger and more childish than when she was in her teen years. Now she's trying to act punk but she sounds like a completely different person.

The funny thing is she was never this punk during her OG run lol That's why yungblunt reminds me of her, he tries too hard to be seen as something he really isn't (a grunge[ish] quirky punk-pop rocker) Although i think Avril Lavigne is miles more authentic than him But she's trying too hard rn, we all know she wouldn't be doing a pop-rock album in 2021 if it wasn't for the recent revival of the genre For the entirety of the 10s she did EDM and adult contemporary, now suddenly she's loves pop rock again lol 😂

So many people were calling her a poser when she came out, I remember there was this kid in my class that called her fraud lol
