Rap music was dominated by the crunk sound. Even r'n'b had elements of the crunk sound, dubbing crunk'n'b. They sound nothing like the rap and r'n'b songs of the late 1990s shiny suit era, early 2000s Neptunes wave, late 2000s Timbaland wave or early 2010s electropop era. The mid 2000s were a distinct era.
Even mid 2000s rock was different from the late 1990s, early 2000s, late 2000s and early 2010s.
There's no way songs like these could come out in the late 1990s, let alone the early and late 2000s.
