I still saw CRTs in the early 2010s, but that depends on the state that one lives in. I mainly saw CRT’s in big chains like Best Buy and malls.

Forget to mention ipods were much closer to 2000s popularity in the early 2010s, compared to the rest of the decade even if they were still being made, and in late 2014 ipod classics were discontinued.

You def did not see CRT sets in the 2010s as Best Buy put out a statement in 2006 saying it would be the final year they would carry them According to Google, CRT’s were mostly discontinued and insignificant after 2013. From where I’m at, Best Buy still carried and distributed leftover stock in low quantities in the early 2010s, definitely not common as 2006 and back. I still saw them in stores like Best Buy back then, but it was rare. It depends on the location you live in. there were 0% CRT sets in Best Buy after 2007 in the tri state area , I went to the mall every single weekend from August 2001 to 2009, while it does depend on the location you live in, I promise you neither stores has them on the showroom past 06. The only thing I can think of is if Best Buy had Insignia off brand tvs locked away in the back or something. Here his a video from 2009 during Circuit City's last day

My grandma still has her 2009 Samsung plasma TV: The video quality is pretty bad. It almost feels like a thin CRT TV.
