But let's not pretend that the late 2010s weren't trashy in their own right. The Emoji Movie, 6ix9ine, Logan and Jake Paul, and Supreme shirts are all prime examples. You may love the 2010s, but you have to admit the decade was pretty damn trashy.

But lets now forget the most annoying 2010s trend: 90s nostalgia I like the 90s so 90s nostalgia in and of itself isn’t a bad thing, but there were two aspects of it in the 2010s that were annoying. The first was the whole “90s kid” phenomenon. BuzzFeed propagated it, and, worse yet, created a lot of myths about the 90s. The worst of them all comes from conflating early 2000s things with 90s ones. The second were big companies exploiting 90s nostalgia. From movies to video games to TV shows, you can’t go anywhere without seeing a 90s throwback, and the reason I said can’t instead of couldn’t is because this is still a phenomenon that’s still ongoing to this day.
