From what I’ve seen, the 2010’s seem to receive a lot of hate, and I feel like I’m one of the very few people who actually like and enjoy the pop culture of this decade. I have lots of things I like about it.
I really like the music, especially hip-hop. I am a big fan of trap rap and this decade has exactly that. I also think 2017 has probably been one of the best years for music in this decade so far.
I like the technology. Thanks to smartphones, it’s easier and faster than ever to get in touch with your friends. It can also sometimes help with school work, which is one of the reasons why I’m glad to be a teen in the 2010’s.
I like the fashion. Unpopular opinion, but I really like the fashion of the 2010’s. I like the hipster style and I think it looks nice.

The only thing I like about this decade is the technology, but even then i'm still not particularly a fan of it. I hate how people have become so addicted to smartphone devices. They've literally ruined relationships and society, in general. To be honest, the only thing that I do like about the technology, is the fact that I can use YouTube to escape from the crap that is currently on the charts. I can easily listen to one of my favourite songs, in reasonably good quality.
To be honest, i'm really bitter about the 2010s. I hate how this decade panned out.

I like the fact that I can use my smartphone when I'm bored, and watch some YT videos anywhere I go.

I like how diverse and connected everyone is and can be. There's more options for education and what's path in life you wanna choose instead of just college or working at a McDonald's.
Television has gotten advance and really good, still pushing boundaries, and of course the internet. Nuff said.

I know I mentioned earlier in this thread that I only like the technology of the 2010s, but if i'm being honest, I also have an appreciation for the indie/hipster scene and 2010s television as well. The indie-scene is the only current mainstream movement that I actually like quite a number of songs from. Some of my favourite indie songs from this decade are "Pumped Up Kicks", "Southern Sun", "Spirits" and "Chateau".
Television has arguably never been as diverse as it is now and many shows are on par with box-office releases in terms of overall quality. For instance, although I don't particularly like Game of Thrones, the cinematic angles and CGI effects used in the show are excellent. The Walking Dead would have to be my favourite hit TV series of the 2010s.

I, too, like the diversity, Mibblez.
I love the technology but I don't like the music. It bores me but I'm too old for the charts now anyway.
I've never followed fashion nor been a movie buff so I don't know the current fashion and film trends.
Television? I don't even have one, too many people in the public eye I don't like and I'm not a big television fan.

I like the hipster style and I think it looks nice. Some of the fashion is nice after the early part of the 10's. Skinny jeans can look really flattering on women as long as they're the right fit. Menswear looks better fitted instead of super baggy. I just don't like the high waisted pants trend. The hairstyles I can't say look good at all. Not big on the pop and rap music of the times, but I do like some of the rock music as long as it isn't bands who've almost gone pop when they were previously some type of hard rock. Smartphones are nice, but social media needs to evolve. It's quite stagnant.

Especially if you've got Netflix or Hulu or some streaming service. I don't, but I'm almost tempted to get it.

I love the aesthetic and fashion of this decade, and everyone just looks so much more put-together compared to other decades. Music is also so diverse this decade and there's always a song for everyone. I also really like how big the difference between the early and late 2010s is and how it feels like we were able to experience two different decades in one.

A song for everyone? Not for me there isn't. I hate 2010s music although there are some artists I like such as Arcade Fire, Fleet Foxes and George Ezra.
