Yeah, they feel different from today's hip hop. It's crazy how they felt more dated in 2017 than 2017 rap does in 2021. Here are some more examples:

Yeah honestly a lot of early 10s hip hop is starting to sound closer the mid-late 00s hip hop than today’s hip hop

Whenever I play GTA Online and I listen to Radio Los Santos, I immediately feel a sense of nostalgia and how vastly different 2013 Trap is from today.
Still, 2013 was the foundation of Core to late 2010s culture, and is basically the grandfather to the 3rd era of Trap music (2019-Present)
