The sad thing is, the HSIE classes at my high school still own and regularly use those... What are HSIE classes? Human Society and It's Environment. It's the subject we learn history and geography in when we are in Years 7-10.

In august 2010, the world wasn't very different. Were you born around 2004/5?

When I started school, we were still using these dinosaurs: The sad thing is, the HSIE classes at my high school still own and regularly use those... You don't use them anymore? What do you use now? To answer the thread question, when I started school in September 1996, everyone was dancing to the Macarena, Jean Chrétien was the Prime Minister of Canada and Super Mario 64 and the Nintendo 64 came out in stores, and people were obsessed with Rachel's hair (from Friends).

What the hell were you doing starting school at age 3 lmao? Or are you talking about Preschool?

Also we used to have a Grade 13, but they got rid of that in 2002 (Québec still has it). My original graduation date was supposed to be 2011.

That's what we have here aswell, two years of kindergarten and I was there in 2003 & 2004. Then in 2005 I started Primary School (Year 1), and we actually have all the way up until Year 13 so I graduated this year.

When we had Grade 13 we only had 3, but now most require 4 (unless you're coming from Québec then you only have to do 3).

For example one of my sisters did 5 years at uni and my other sister did only 3 years and the degree that I might be doing will be 4 years. Although, generally 3 years is the shortest degree you can do at uni.

Most people tend to do courses which go between 3-5 years, from what I am aware of.

Weirdly enough when I was in elementary school from 2006 to 2012, my school still used CRT monitors for the class computers.
