If we're talking TV cartoons that best represent the 2010s, I'm thinking Steven Universe, Rick and Morty, We Bare Bears, Bojack Horseman, Teen Titans Go, My Little Pony. If we're talking about cartoons then I would say those represent the 10s a lot. Rick and Morty represents 10s the best whilst I would say something like Family Guy represents the 00s pretty well.

I'd personally say We Bare Bears has to be the most 2010s cartoon I've ever seen. Simplistic rounded aesthetic, emotional, smartphones and social media, there's episodes about environmentalism, positive portrayal of urban life. Even the theme song is this indie pop tune. Teen Titans Go is also very 2010s, given how its a reboot of a superhero cartoon. Maybe the fact the 2010s is so superhero-centric is why it became bigger than the original show (which aired when you could actually avoid hearing about superheroes).

As for 2000s cartoons: Invader Zim, Kim Possible, 6teen, Total Drama Island, Stoked, Class of 3000, Danny Phantom, Johnny Test, Totally Spies, Drawn Together, Kappa Mikey. The anime Sonic X also has a strong 2000s vibe, ESPECIALLY the 4Kids dub.
Powerpuff Girls and Rocket Power have a strong Y2K era vibe.

2000s - TRL Malcolm in The Middle Zoey 101
Agree with all of these. I also think Ned’s Declassified is very 2000s.

Now that I’ve just rethought about it, I’d also add What’s New Scooby-Doo into the 00s category, but it’s not for the show itself, but the theme song. Long story short THEY GOT SIMPLE FUCKING PLAN TO DO THE THEME SONG.
There’s actually also an episode of the show that features the band. Still, this has to probably be not only the most 00s cartoon theme song of all time, but also perhaps the most 00s TV theme song, PERIOD.

There weren't that many real life based tv shows in the 10s, it was mostly fictitious like TWD, took place in the past like Stranger Things and Vikings or took place in a completely different planet like Game of Thrones For that reason I can't think of a single tv show that represents the 2010s Even kidcoms/teen sitcoms, a genre surprisingly grounded in reality for the most part given its target audience, shifted to become more fictious and unrealistic in the 2010s. We went from relatable shows like Drake and Josh, Ned's Declassified, and iCarly, to The Thundermans and Henry Danger, both of which exploit the superhero genre that was omnipresent in 2010s culture. That said, I actually do think Thundermans for example could be seen as representative of the 2010s atmosphere for this very reason.

Breaking Bad for the early 10s definitely. Had that energy even tho the first two seasons were in the 2000s.

Breaking Bad for the early 10s definitely. Had that energy even tho the first two seasons were in the 2000s. Great show but i didn't distinctly feel much early 10s energy besides a few early 10s specific lines here and there and "bonfire" playing in that one scene. I feel as if it looks like it could have been filmed anytime between like the mid 2000s and late 10s.

It's also not something that makes the work feel like a dated relic. It's aged well. It's certainly very different from say, that Annoying Orange TV show I posted a while back for example.

Eh, there's hints of it from time to time(like saul goodman quoting some high school kids saying "Epic win!") but it seems pretty chronologically ambiguous to me. You'd have to actively pay attention to the technology and stuff to notice it's an early 10s show if you weren't told when it aired.
