i didn’t even use vine much but whenever i saw vines they weren’t that funny, especially looking back at old compilations. if you think vine is top tier comedy i’d hate to see what else you find funny. tiktok has much more relatable content and so much more variety. i have a feeling tiktok will last much longer than vine did

Most of the edgy culture of the mid 10s came from I’d say YouTube, Reddit, 4chan, and iFunny. There were some edgy vines like about 9/11, but not to the same extent of other platforms. Vine was seen by a lot of those people as “normie” back in those days I mostly agree with you honestly. There were some cringy AF Vines from back then. Honestly, let’s just be fucking honest with ourselves. Both platforms have tons of cringy content. And I’m not a fan of either. Hell, I can even admit some old YouTube stuff like Fred was cringy AF. It’s just the nature of young dudes making content I guess.
