What years did you think or notice culture or life in general going to shit and which years did culture get better?
Imo:
Went to shit: 2010, 2014(mainly personal), 2016
Rebound: 2018(mainly personal), 2021

I remember thinking 2017 was a rebound year for me back in 2018.
But looking back now 2017-2018 were just an extension of 2016's shittyness, and 2019 was the real rebound. It's interesting how my perspective has changed with hindsight.
2017-2018 was shit for me because i went through an edgy right-winger phase.
Late 2018 i went back to normal so i guess 2019 was the rebound.

I'm Black and I even I fucking had that phase lmao like bruh. I was a huge uncle tom on the internet back then. Even had open alt-right friends. I wish I could slap some sense into my 2016-2017 self.
