This could be personal or (pop) cultural.
I signed up for fully online college classes in summer and fall 2019, per my requirements and class schedules. I only had to go on campus for work. I like that change as that allowed me more freedom and flexibility in my schedule. These changes became cemented once COVID lockdowns were in place come March 11-18, 2020.
My family and I got sick in late January 2020, which lasted us through March or early April 2020. That was the worst we’ve been sick. A friend of mine got sick that time too. We all swore we had COVID. I spoke to a friend on the phone and they said their coworkers had COVID in December 2019. I think the WHO declared COVID a pandemic in March 2020. I feel like COVID was already around in the US in very late November and or December 2019. I know the first US case wasn’t reported until January 18-20, 2020.

I remember February 2020 feeling "off"... something in the air.
I'd also say even despite being pre-pandemic February 2020 was the worst month of 2020 for me.
